Our Approach

Insolvency Management Services Pty Ltd (IMS) is a dynamic and growing business that closely deals with the Australian insolvency industry on behalf of our clients. We take advantage of latest technology and provide unique management of accounts under administration and controlled by a trustee.

diagram-emp-trainingWe liaise with trustees in bankruptcies, debt administrators, liquidators, estate managers and corporate administrators by completing proofs of debt, voting on matters under client guidelines/instructions, monitoring distributions and responding to trustee enquiries. We take on the long term control of insolvent matters on your behalf.

Ongoing training is provided to our staff handling hardship portfolios in order to update on any new guidelines provided by our clients and to review existing knowledge to ensure compliance in this highly regulated area and avoid any room for complaints.

Both portfolios are continuously monitored by our special compliance team ensuring we are compliant and feedback is shared with staff for ongoing improvement to their call handling skills.

Quality and Audit Control

IMS is accredited member of the American Collectors Association - Professional Practices Management System (PPMS) requiring annual re-certification of 18 elements annually.

To be certified to ACA's PPMS, agencies need to demonstrate they have implemented ACA's PPMS. Certification requires the agency to have an independent CPA come to their office and attest to the required information and send it to an independent third-party auditor (who ACA will hire) for review. If the information meets the requirements, certification will be granted.

Our team is made up of CEO/Director, Human Resources Manager, IT Department, Compliance Team, Collectors/account administration. Our management team has exclusive experience in credit collection cycles and insolvency.

In particular our CEO has 13 years of banking and finance plus 12 years of collections experience with major Australian banks and US global companies.
